A fresh approach to leading a health conscious life

THE DELPHI FITNESS SYSTEM USA

I will understand what you are going through

A TRAINER IS BORN

There isn’t a day that goes by where I am not asked why I train with the focus and intensity that I do. “Why do you train so hard, you are in great shape, why are you competing ?Do you LIKE being on stage in your bikini??? Don’t you do ANYTHING for fun???” (sigh, shock, horror) To the casual observer I may look like the usual blonde slim fit chick that frequents gyms across the nation, however the human nature of perception and judging by appearance more often than not is completely incorrect. There is ALWAYS a defining and life altering moment where true passion is born and its purpose becomes the meaningful focus in your life.

"LIFE is a Precious Gift ~ SMILE and Enjoy It"

From the ashes of what felt like the incineration of my life a small Spark of fire was about to ignite.    Little did I know this would burn up into a life long passion that still drives me forward today. The desire to help others became a dedicated commitment spanning 22 years as an educator and leader within the health and fitness industry. For me, looking back, one of the greatest changes came from within;  my attitude and approach to life.  A commitment to living a health conscious lifestyle carrying me through each new hurdle life has continued to present me with.

2006 ~ Delphine relapsed once again.. A second thyroidectomy was performed that almost ended her life and a second 8 hour emergency surgery was performed. After recovery Delphine took the doctors and medical professionals advise to change careers and take a sedentary job, and did the complete opposite. Challenging what science deemed to be the impossible, she would not be deterred from her mission to demonstrate through personal experience that although she had survived two thyroidectomies, a partial mastectomy, three reconstructive surgeries, a total hysterectomy and bladder reconstruction, all thyroid cancer related, that her life would not be dictated by these tragedies.

Relapse 2006

Remission and on a Mission

Turning her focus to the challenge of entering the world of competing in Fitness, Delphine placed 4th in her first show, the Midwest Ironman Championships, 2007 and 3rd in 2008. After relapsing once again and suffering the consequences of financial ruin resulting in the loss of her personal training studio from the financial burden of medical bills, the decision was made to move to LA for a fresh start.

Through perseverance and indomitable will once again she gained control of her body and life.  Delphine competed in 2012 & 2013 placing 3rd twice and  taking 2nd in the Masters
